I am a civil engineer and having over ten (10) years of experience in managing construction contracts and their related claims/disputes. I am acquainted with the disputes settlement mechanisms within the different standard forms of contract; FIDIC, JCT, and NEC. Moreover, I have successfully passed a law of obligation module and adjudication; law and practice module from Leeds Beckett University. These modules have provided me with the knowledge and skills of the Alternative - to the courts - Dispute Resolution methods such as negotiation, conciliation, mediation, expert determination, adjudication and arbitration, I am aware of the differences between them as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each, however, I have gained in-depth knowledge and skills of the adjudication method. I have worked as a Claims Consultant for Employers, Contractors and Subcontractors, whether through full-time employment or as self-employment. I have a comprehensive career history in a wide variety of projects such as Oil & Gas, Commercial, Residential, Harbours, and Infrastructure. I have successfully participated in multimillion-dollar projects with international Clients to prepare and evaluate fully detailed Claims, and provide assistance and advice on Contractual and Legal matters. I have been assigned to prestigious Clients within the Middle East; Kuwait, Dubai & Oman, and provided them with full support in all aspects of Construction Claims. I have successfully produced a detailed report in an ad-hoc Arbitration Case in Oman with Client based in Kuwait. I have recently resolved a dispute through an amicable settlement agreement in Dubai and avoided the Parties to proceed with arbitration.
