Personal bio

I am a construction and capital projects professional with over 25 years’ experience delivering complex developments across Qatar and internationally, spanning aviation, hospitality, residential, retail and infrastructure sectors. I have led multi-billion-value projects from concept through to delivery, working with international operators, contractors and consultants across multiple jurisdictions.

Alongside project delivery, I have extensive experience in the prevention and resolution of disputes. I have been actively involved in addressing commercial and contractual issues through structured negotiation and practical ADR-led approaches, consistently resolving matters without escalation to formal proceedings. This includes managing entitlement discussions, commercial settlements and stakeholder negotiations in high-value, time-critical environments.

I bring a commercially grounded and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution, with a strong understanding of how disputes arise in complex projects and how they can be efficiently resolved. My background combines technical, contractual and strategic perspectives, supported by an MEng in Civil Engineering and PMP certification, complementing my role as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). I am fluent in English and Arabic, with working proficiency in French, enabling me to operate effectively across diverse international environments.
