Personal bio

Danyal studied architecture at University College Dublin and is a practising registered architect and Senior Associate at Bluett & O'Donoghue. In addition to his architectural qualifications, Danyal has a Diploma in Corporate Law & Governance from the Law Society of Ireland, a Diploma in Arbitration from University College Dublin, a Diploma in Construction Law and Contract Administration from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Construction Law and Practice from Salford University. ​Danyal is a CEDR Accredited Mediator, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators where he also serves as Committee Member of the Ireland branch. He holds a position as RIAI representative on the Liaison Committee for the Construction Industry and is a member of the RIAI Contracts Drafting Group and the RIAI Panel of Arbitrators, Conciliators, Mediators and Adjudicators. ​He has worked on large scale commercial projects both in Ireland and Australia with extensive experience in public works and healthcare projects. He also conducts CPD-accredited lectures in public procurement and is an external examiner in the UCD School of Architecture Diploma in Professional Practice.
