Isaiah Bozimo is a distinguished legal professional and chartered arbitrator, specialising in commercial arbitration and dispute resolution. His extensive career includes significant contributions as Delta State’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice (29 July 2021 - 28 May 2023), where he championed key reforms, including the Delta State Arbitration Law of 2022. He was also instrumental in drafting Nigeria’s Arbitration and Mediation Act. Presently, Isaiah serves as a Partner at Broderick Bozimo & Company, advocating for various clients, encompassing governments, state-owned entities, corporations and high-net-worth individuals in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. Isaiah’s extensive experience in complex commercial disputes enables him to expertly navigate complex cases, setting invaluable precedents in the field. His impact on the arbitration sphere is significant. Notable cases include representing the Delta State Government in a ₦1 billion claim submitted to ad hoc arbitration and acting as co-counsel in a $300 million gas supply dispute taken to ICC Arbitration. Isaiah’s outstanding contributions have earned him recognition from Who’s Who Legal, the African Arbitration Academy, and Chartered status from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
