Personal bio
Have been a solicitor for 20+ years and routinely negotiating and trying to settle disputed matters with a view to avoiding the complex, time consuming and expensive court process. Acted for a Claimant in a Defamation case; resolved through mediation. On a personal note, was a party to a mediation lasting a whole day and acquired a good sense of what is involved and how the mediator went about the task. I use this experience to recommend to all litigants and potential litigants to consider ADR.
