Accredited Civil & Commercial Mediator Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Children Arbitration Scheme Arbitrator I started my legal career in Bromley, Kent, in 1988 and qualified as a solicitor in 1993, representing clients in general litigation, family and criminal court cases. I gained accreditation to the Law Society's Personal Injury and Children Law Panels as well as the Duty Solicitor scheme in the Magistrates' Courts, before moving to Braintree, Essex, in 1998 where I continued to specialise in litigation including commercial cases, was made partner and achieved accreditation as a Civil and Commercial Mediator and was awarded Higher Rights in civil court cases by the Law Society as a Solicitor Advocate. I subsequently set up my own firm in Braintree and opened a branch office in Reading, Berkshire, before merging with a firm in Reading in 2013, since when I have achieved accreditation as a Children Scheme Mediator, Membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and maintained my Law Society Children Panel status. I have recently moved to Garrods Law Ltd in Chelmsford, Essex. Throughout my career I have regularly represented clients at court Hearings in a variety of cases.
