Personal bio
Anthony Strahan QC is an experienced trial and appellate advocate who appears in all Australian jurisdictions and in domestic and international arbitrations. He practises predominately in general corporate and commercial law, insolvency, class actions, insurance, banking and finance, fraud, equity and property. He has been leading counsel in numerous complex trials and appeals. He has experience with the telecommunications, banking, media, oil & gas and pharmaceutical industries, among others. From 2001 to 2003 he was an associate with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London. Prior to that he worked for Minter Ellison in Melbourne. He is currently a member of the Federal Court of Australia’s User Group for the Corporations and Commercial National Practice Area.
