Personal bio
I have been involved in international dispute resolution for over 25 years with half of that time spent working in London and the other half in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and currently, Dubai. I therefore have genuine multi-jurisdictional and multi-cultural experience. My background covers a broad range of commercial and international trade & commodities disputes (including S&P agreements, trade finance, insurance and shipping) as well as energy, construction & infrastructure and anti-bribery & corruption matters. I have worked in international arbitration from the outset of my career and was an early adopter of and advocate for commercial mediation.
