Personal bio
John is a chartered civil and environmental engineer with 40 years’ experience in the consulting engineering sector. In addition to his experience in company management he has remained a practising engineer with core skills in development planning and infrastructure engineering. These skills have been applied across a range of markets on projects of varying sizes within the public and private sector. John joined Buro Happold in March 2015 having spent over 25 years working for Waterman Group. At Buro Happold he is a Group Director leading their City Systems Group comprising energy, water, environment, transport and bridges/civil structures teams.
