Director at Secretariat, a leading independent expert services practice specializing in international arbitration and commercial litigation. Provide expert advice and evidence on project delay and disruption, leveraging extensive experience across more than 40 construction projects in South and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Canada, Russia and Australia.
Before transitioning to dispute expert services, worked in general contracting and claims management and gained site-based experience in project coordination and planning. Project portfolio includes power generation (fossil fuel and nuclear), industrial projects (petrochemicals, fertilizer, and food production), hospitals, sewage treatment and pipelines, transportation (roads, airports, rail and bridges), oil-&-gas projects and residential and commercial developments (hotels, offices, and retail/malls).
Hold master’s degrees in civil engineering and construction law, a diploma in international arbitration, graduated first on class and was granted numerous awards including a prestigious national award in Canada for high caliber research.
CIArb Fellow and accredited mediator, accredited expert determiner by the Academy of Experts, RICS registered expert witness, and a frequent speaker in industry seminars with feedback highlighting the “rich knowledge on the topics” and “brilliant handling of questions”.
