Personal bio
Alex focuses his practice on dispute resolution, intellectual property, compliance management, investment & financing, and other commercial transactions. He frequently assists multinational companies and foreign investors on complex legal issues relating to the formation, reorganization, M&A, employment, and regulatory matters in China. Alex has worked with clients in various sectors, including TMT (telecommunications, media, and technology), automotive, high-tech (AI), medical devices, PE, and VC. He has successfully represented clients from the United States, Europe, Hong Kong, South Korea, etc.
Before joining W&H Law Firm in October 2020, Alex worked at a leading PRC law firm in China and was an in-house counsel at a top multinational telecommunication company, taking charge of legal and compliance matters in the Asia-Pacific Area and the CIS region, and worked in several different countries along the “Belt and Road” route.
Alex is the CIArb Young Members Group Ambassador to Mainland China (Shenzhen).
