Overview;
Koji Fujimi has 30 years' experience in engineering, project management and contract management in the energy sector, oil & gas sector and the chemical & material sector with a particular focus on EPC contracts on a scale of up to US$ 800 million. He majored in civil engineering and then the laws of Japan; further specialized in construction case law, arbitration law and mediation practice under the common law.
His entire career is built on a solid foundation of overseas experience in high-profile construction projects with complexity. Koji has experienced in managing positions such as project manager, construction manager, chief design engineer as well as contract manager in prime EPC contractors. He has recently been achieving success in playing a key role to lead legal teams in mediation, arbitration and litigation for complex cross-border disputes.
Koji has been based in Hong Kong, USA, Philippines, Thailand, Korea and Yemen as part of his overseas assignments for over 10 years in total to lead multinational teams. The depth of experience underpins his strength in advancing international business management to build up trust and confidence in cross-cultural contexts.
