Arcoprovo Mitra is Director and leads the A&M’s Capital Projects Disputes in India. He has advised a wide range of organizations on litigation and arbitration matters in India. He has more than 19 years of experience in both consulting and industry and specializes in dispute consulting, litigation support, and project advisory. He specializes in Construction Disputes related to Delays, Disruption and Contractual issues, and supports Clients in Analysis of Delays, Validation of Claims, Computation of Claims. He also provides Consultancy and Expert services to Clients in Arbitration, Litigation and Negotiation matters. Prior to joining A&M, Arcoprovo was a Director at EY and has led EY’s Construction Claims and Disputes practice in India for more than five years. He had also spent two years in PwC (before joining EY) and had played a key role in leading the Construction Disputes engagements of PwC in India. Prior to joining consultancy, Arcoprovo had worked in corporate companies in various project management and claims management roles for over ten (10) years. During this, he had worked primarily in large scale capital projects in various roles such as planning, budgeting, claims management and contract administration. Arcoprovo has served clients across a wide range of capital projects including transportation (rail, road, metro, airport), heavy civil (petrochemical process plants, power plants, steel plants, manufacturing facility, medical facility, fertilizer plant), oil and gas (exploration, pipeline, refinery, LNG terminal), building (residential, commercial, institutional), transmission lines, overhead electric lines, port, irrigation and sewage treatment plant etc.
