With my degree in engineering, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a versatile professional background that spans diverse sectors and international landscapes. My professional journey commenced in 2003 with a leading global soft-skills training and consultancy firm, where I became a licensed facilitator for programmes on time management, leadership and team-building. Moving into the manufacturing industry in 2007, I assumed the role of Regional Export Manager for a prominent industrial kitchen equipment company, overseeing operations in Europe and North America. This experience not only deepened my understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics and stock management but also honed my expertise in foreign trade, import/export procedures and distributor management. Venturing into the dynamic realm of business development, I spearheaded the establishment of processes and departments as the Business Development Manager for a London-based furniture company in 2010. This role allowed me to craft a holistic understanding of the production-to-end user journey, with a specific emphasis on the distributor end. Subsequently, I delved into the world of commercial property agency in 2012 and actively engaged in sales, lettings, acquisitions, particularly in retail, office and investment properties. After a decade of success, I became one of the partners of the firm in 2020. Determined to broaden my professional horizons, I made a strategic shift into alternative conflict resolution, achieving accreditation as an Evaluative Mediator by the RICS and becoming a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) in January 2024. This decision reflects my commitment to diversifying my professional expertise and contributing to the field of dispute resolution. Key facets of my profile include a comprehensive understanding of varied business needs, cultivated through experiences in different sectors globally. My international exposure, particularly in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, is complemented by bilingual proficiency in Turkish and English.
