Peter L. Roy Mediation and Arbitration Peter is one of Canada’s leading counsel. He brings a wealth of experience in high stakes litigation, having assisted clients in matters involving billions of dollars in business and class action litigation. Peter has more than 40 years experience in corporate/commercial, directors and officers’ liability, and indemnity, securities, derivative and oppression, professional negligence, intergenerational wealth transfer disputes, estate, property, employment and resource industry litigation. Peter was one of the founding partners of Roy O’Connor LLP, widely recognised as one of Canada’s leading class action and litigation boutiques. Prior to that Peter was a senior litigation counsel at a major international firm. Throughout his career, Peter has enjoyed outstanding peer reviewed recognition. He has been recognized by Benchmark Canada as a National Securities Litigation Star and an Ontario Securities and Class Action Litigation Star and one of the Top 50 Trial Lawyers in Canada and by Euromoney as one of the world’s Leading Resource Lawyers. He is a member of the Advocates Society and The Litigation Counsel of America. As a Fellow of the Charted Institute of Arbitrators and a holder of the Harvard Mediation Certificate, Peter has the necessary qualifications, experience and wisdom to assist parties to resolve disputes through mediation and the sound judgment to arbitrate dispute.
