Personal bio
Susanne is a King’s Counsel practising at the Scottish Bar and is dual qualified as a barrister in England & Wales. She is a member of Ampersand Advocates in Scotland and Crown Office Chambers in England & Wales. She was appointed as the Chair of two Independent inquiries in 2020/21. She is a First-Tier Tribunal judge dealing with housing and property and special educational needs disputes. She currently holds a commission from the Lord Advocate as Assistant Principal Crown Counsel in Scotland. She is an arbitrator and mediator and holds appointments with a number of domestic and international bodies.
