Gilbert Kaemba Mwamba is a lawyer of more than 10 years’ experience at the Zambian Bar. His peers describe him as a versatile commercial lawyer, with an uncommon analytical mind and ability to understand and attend to complex instructions. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Sustainable Mineral Resources Development from the University of Zambia. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education, a Certificate in Sustainable Development from Stellenbosch University and Certificates in Domestic and International Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. In terms of professional membership, Gilbert is a member of Law Association of Zambia, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and Institute of Directors (MIoD). He is also an accredited Insolvency Practitioner with Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA). Gilbert has diverse experience that cuts across commercial dispute resolution and corporate practice areas given his professional stint in both private and public sectors. He advises on tax, mining, energy, infrastructure, environment and insolvency laws. He regularly interfaces with key regulators and advises on regulatory and compliance matters.
