Personal bio
I am a Barrister of England and Wales and a partner at the firm Howard Kennedy LLP. I specialise in international arbitration and international litigation. I have particular experience in the energy sector, including power and oil and gas disputes, and in disputes arising out of joint ventures and projects in the property development, hotels and retail sectors. I have extensive experience in cases involving African projects. I have also handled many cases relating to the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and other regions. I am familiar with the rules of all of the major institutions and I have handled cases under the LCIA, ICC, SIAC, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC rules and UNCITRAL Rules. I lived in Mauritius for three years where I established and managed the LCIA's arbitration centre there.
