Personal bio
Ben took a first in law at Trinity College, Cambridge before undertaking an LLM at the University of Virginia in the USA. He was admitted to the New York Bar and worked at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York. On returning to the UK, Ben was the top ranked student in his year at Bar School. He was called to the Bar by Gray's Inn and joined 4 New Square where he has practised as a barrister ever since. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2012. Ben has a busy practice specialising in the fields of commercial disputes, insurance and professional liability. He is regularly appointed as an arbitrator of disputes in those fields.
