Paolo has substantial experience in advising European and African clients across a range of industries in relation to standard form and bespoke contracts and documentation, with a particular emphasis on international trade, joint-ventures and production sharing agreements, onshore and offshore mining and oil projects.
He has wide experience in both domestic and international disputes, and specialises in the resolution of a wide range of commercial and investment disputes through arbitration. He has a particular expertise in complex and multi-party arbitrations.
Paolo has substantial experience in the offshore exploration & mining sector, having acted as CLO & COO for an international group operating in Namibia and South Africa.
Paolo is a guest lecturer on energy law matters at CCLS, Queen Mary University of London. In addition, he has published articles on international arbitrations
