Daniel Bushell is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Practising Associate Member of the Academy of Experts. He has 17 years’ construction consultancy experience and has been involved in every aspect of pre and post contract quantity surveying. Daniel holds an MSc in Construction Law and Practice and a Diploma in Adjudication and has worked for both responding and referring parties in Adjudication. The RICS have appointed Daniel as an assessor for the senior professional route to membership. Daniel’s work portfolio comprises numerous projects of considerable International significance including the Jeddah Tower (formally Kingdom Tower), two Olympic Games, a World Cup Stadium, two Expos, a premier league stadium, a Serie A Stadium and a theme park as well as projects in the residential, education, health, commercial, retail, civil, ship building and process engineering sectors. This experience enables him to assess, evaluate and opine on the costs associated with large scale complex projects. Daniel has supported lead independent experts on large quantum disputes in international Arbitration and is experienced in undertaking detailed cost analyses, drafting expert reports and assisted with cross examination preparation at the hearing stage.
