Personal bio
I am an experienced quantity surveyor who specialises in the quantum analysis of construction claims and disputes. I am a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb). I also have an MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution from Kings College, London. During my career I have worked for a major international contractor and professional consultancy firm where I was involved in a variety of large scale construction projects including airports, commercial buildings and high rise residential buildings. More recently I have been involved with large scale international arbitrations, providing quantum analysis to assist the appointed quantum expert on construction and engineering disputes, including attending hearings where I have given evidence to clarify matters in an expert witness-conferencing situation under an ICC Arbitration. My experience of working on both the Contractor and Client side, together with my legal education, provides me with a balanced knowledgeable background to successfully assess construction claims.
