Personal bio

Atty. Valenton finished Bachelor of Laws Degree in San Beda University. He ranked 16th for the Bar Exams he took in 2001. He successfully defended his thesis on Mining and Environment to complete his Masters of Law. He further went to Harvard University School of Law for the Executive Education Program on Mergers and Acquisitions. Earlier, he finished U.S. Corporate Law and International Business Agreements Boston University School of Law. He further finished a course on Investment Management. He was tapped as a legal expert by the inter-government agency Mining Industry Coordinating Council for phases 1, 2, and 3 of the review of mining operations in the Philippines in accordance with Executive Order No. 79. He is likewise a member and trained arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (East Asia Chapter) and the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc.. He currently is teaching different subjects, including Property and Corporate Law, in four different law schools. He recently authored a book entitled, “Personal Property Security Act and Related Laws and Jurisprudence on Credit, Insolvency, Property, and Procedure”.
