Dr. Arar I. Batarseh is a seasoned attorney and accomplished legal professional with over 22 years of experience across diverse sectors. He holds a Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Jordan and an L.L.M. in Intellectual Property Rights from Switzerland’s WIPO and the University of Jordan. As an accredited arbitrator (FCIArb) and mediator, Dr. Batarseh has significant expertise in international commercial arbitration, intellectual property, and anti-corruption projects.
Dr. Batarseh has served as the Chief Legal Officer for various international clients, including the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP), the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Riyadh, and the Abdul Latif Jameel Group across the MENA region. His roles span legal governance, compliance, intellectual property management, developing policies, drafting corporate agreements, and leading complex dispute resolutions.
Dr. Batarseh’s professional memberships include the Jordan Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Fluent in both Arabic and English, he is a well-regarded speaker and published author on intellectual property and arbitration topics, frequently engaging in international conferences and workshops.
