Personal bio
Rina Chatrath is the Co-Founder of The CFOO Centre. She has more than 20 years of experience in various management, legal and human resources roles. Prior to joining the CFOO Centre, Rina was pursuing and is now a member of Arbitration through the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Rina holds an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School (Herriot Watt University) and an LLB (Hons) together with an LPC from Nottingham Trent University. She has worked as an in-house legal consultant for various companies in Nairobi.
She has also held leadership positions in one of Kenya’s largest suppliers of home and electrical appliances, the banking sector and one of Kenya’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Her competencies lie in legal practice, governance and compliance, human resource functions, supply chain, inventory management and intellectual property.
Rina has completed various arbitrations and has been involved in several arbitration events in Kenya, including the 2024 Ciarb Kenya @ 40 conference.
