Personal bio

Shu Cruikshank has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) London since March 2019. Shu is dual-qualified both in law and engineering with professional qualifications. She has had extensive construction and infrastructure experience in the UK, Canada, Singapore and China. She is practising as an independent legal consultant advising clients on contentious construction issues. She has been involved in various ADR including Expert Witness and international commercial arbitration cases. She is also an arbitrator for the Vis Moot in Vienna and the Fox Williams Vis Pre-Moots since 2022. Shu holds a Master degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London and an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London. She completed her legal qualification of a GDL and LPC from City University of London. Shu is also a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators since 2019; and a Member of the Society of Construction Law since 2022; a Member of Gray’s Inn and the ArbitralWomen since 2023. Shu is bilingual in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
