Established contracts and commercial management professional with over 13 years of progressive experience in the construction industry in both pre-contract and post-contract activities, including over 10 years in a management role. Core strengths include identifying contractual entitlement, writing contractual and legal correspondence, dispute management and alternative dispute resolution by negotiation, mediation and arbitration in both civil and common law jurisdictions. Negotiating and drafting contracts and subcontracts in standard and bespoke forms. Risk and issue management, researching and preparing all types of claims for EOT and/or additional cost, as well as defense against claims from others. Strong experience in project financial reporting and project controls, including cashflow projections, earned value management and cost monitoring and control. Effective team leader, negotiator and problem-solver with very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
