Career spanning 30 years from site civil engineering & building construction (industrial & condominium) to contracts and commercial management on large value oil & gas projects. Dealing with clients (prime contracts), architects, engineers, owners, government representatives (LTA infrastructure projects) & subcontractors on EPC / cost plus fee / lump sum projects and asset lease operations. Last 20 years in MNC's, 18 holding managerial positions in contracts, procurement & commercial groups. Major project & asset values handled > $1 billion each. Early career as Site Manager on Singapore government / public sector infrastructure (expressway bridges & tunnels) and Project Engineer for private high rise residential project on marine clay. Also performed as Resident Engineer on a large petrochemical construction project on Jurong Island. Hold MSc & BEng. (Hons.) degrees in engineering with professional qualifications in arbitration - Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators & Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
