Personal bio
Gordon's practice as counsel and arbitrator focuses on claims by and against State bodies, especially in the areas of energy, infrastructure and utilities. Gordon is also known for his work in international trade and regulated sectors including transport, public procurement and financial srevices. He has extensive experience of the interface between arbitration and EU, public international law and the ECHR. He accepts appointments ad hoc and under the rules of the main institutions. As well as practising as Queen's Counsel in England and Wales, Gordon is a member of the Bar of Ireland and is a foreign member of the Dutch Brussels Bar.
