Personal bio
I am a Chartered Architect with over 20 years’ experience working across all stages of the design and construction process. I have been responsible for the delivery of several award winning schemes covering a variety of sectors including performing arts venues, education facilities, commercial offices and mixed-use developments on sensitive urban sites.
Since joining HKA in 2020, I have prepared expert reports and undertaken forensic analysis on professional negligence matters involving external cladding, roofing systems, fire safety compliance and construction defects. I have also acted as a named expert in adjudication proceedings and my expert appointments have included disputes with values in excess of £60 million.
Whilst working in architectural practice, I had a proven track record for working collaboratively within complex client groups involving multiple stakeholders to coordinate challenging technical briefs and project requirements with innovative design responses.
In 2023 I was recognised as a 'Global Leader' in the Who's Who Legal Construction Expert Witnesses research and also recommended in the WWL Consulting Experts research. I am a Practising Member of the Academy of Experts (MAE) and am accredited with the RIBA Register of Experts.
