Personal bio
Adebola ("Bola") obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Lagos State University in 2004 and was called to the Nigerian bar the following year. Bola worked as a litigation counsel with Chief Ladi Rotimi Williams SAN for two years before proceeding to the UK where he obtained a Master of Laws degree specialising in Corporate Governance and International Financial Services Regulation from the University of Manchester in 2008. In 2011, Bola passed the UK Solicitors qualifying exams enabling him to practice as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Bola first joined PAC Solicitors in 2009 before proceeding to Swansea University to commence his PhD specialising in sustainable project finance. Upon completion of his PhD in 2016, Bola rejoined PAC Solicitors and has risen to the position of a Partner. Bola leads the Fintech and IT law unit of PAC Solicitors and is a key member of the firm’s Contracting and Transaction Structuring unit. Bola assists clients in structuring transactions and documentation of major IT projects and corporate transactions. During his PhD, Bola completed the arbitration training and was admitted as a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK. Bola has experience in drafting arbitral processes and has participated in arbitral proceedings where the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules 2010, and the Arbitration Rules of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators 2015 was employed.
