Personal bio
Shin Mei has over 9 years of experience in the construction industry. She began her career in a QS consultant firm at Singapore Davis Langdon & Seah as an Assistant QS. She later moved on to a Malaysia national infrastructure project and joined MMC-Gamuda KVMRT(T) Sdn Bhd, the Underground Works Man-Contractor that was responsible for the construction of Line 1 & 2 underground tunnels & Stations for the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit System. She was responsible for post contract management in both lines which include procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers, assessment of claims, preparation, monitoring and reporting of budget. Her main involvement was procurement tunneling works costing, procurement of surface plants that support tunneling works. She has strong foundation in tunneling works. She is a qualified CIPAA Adjudicator and empaneled under AIAC.
