Melissa is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk’s Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice, and Co-Head of International Trade.

A 'lifer' at Dentons Rodyk, she had the privilege of training under the firm's Senior Counsel and has now had over a decade of experience navigating complex commercial disputes. Her practice covers a broad range of industry sectors, including energy/projects, international trade and commodities, shipping, digital assets, blockchain and technology, pharmaceutical and intellectual property disputes, aviation and construction. She has also advised both private and public sector clients on regulatory matters and sanctions, and acted as sole arbitrator. Melissa is equally active in both litigation and arbitration, and specialises in cases involving tricky and novel issues. She is always on the lookout for a new challenge.

Melissa has served on various committees within the SIAC and CIArb over the years, and is a member of the SIAC Users Council. She was recognised as one of Singapore’s 20 most influential lawyers aged 40 and under for 2019 by the Singapore Business Review and was named one of Asian Legal Business: Asia 40 under 40 for 2023.

Outside of practice, Melissa enjoys playing sports with the Law Society and friends, as well as viewing and making art.
