Personal bio
Charles Essien has over 30 years experience in the upstream oil and gas, and oil service industries where he worked as a facilities engineer, major projects delivery manager, contracts manager, petroleum economist, and technology leader for RD Shell and GE oil and gas. He has led project maturation and execution activities for onshore and offshore major projects. He is currently an independent consultant with interest in field development concepts engineering; developing strategies to unlock stranded oil and gas reserves; oil and gas field development; client (owners) engineer in contract execution; expert witness in oil and gas project disputes.
