Personal bio
Melissa is a senior dispute resolution lawyer with over 14 years of experience advising on international arbitration and litigation matters. She has practised in the UAE since 2008, having spent over a decade working in the disputes teams of two magic circle law firms before joining Pinsent Masons LLP in 2019. Her practice covers a wide range of areas including construction, finance, property, employment and general commercial disputes. Melissa currently works as the Senior Practice Development Lawyer for Pinsent Masons' contentious teams in the Middle East. Melissa sits as the Vice-Chair of the CIArb YMG Committee in the UAE, is a member of ArbitralWomen and is registered with the DIFC Courts.
