Having over 30 years’ experience specialising in major infrastructure, construction and engineering projects, Amanda is both results focussed and highly skilled in helping clients navigate the myriad of issues that can arise on such projects. Amanda’s past roles have included senior partnership and leadership positions in Australian and international large law firms. She established Davidson in 2017 as an Australian independent top tier boutique law firm, assisting clients across a range of industries. Well known for her technical excellence and ability to innovate, Amanda works with clients throughout the lifecycle of their projects – from project inception through tendering and contract preparation, contract administration, ongoing operations and maintenance, to all forms of dispute management and resolution. She also advises on the procurement of privately funded public infrastructure, as well as other government and private sector projects. As her clients will attest, Amanda excels in the conduct of major disputes. Her knowledge of construction law gained over 30 years of running major cases means that there is no matter that she does not hold the skill set to deal with. She has extensive experience in the management of disputes in the context of major construction and engineering projects, property and development, joint ventures and shareholder disputes and is regarded as a leading litigation lawyer. Amanda is also recognised as an expert at providing training and mentoring for contract administrators, project managers and other consultants. Amanda was Awarded the Order of Australia in 2015 for services to maternal health and continues to chair the charity she founded in 2001, Preeclampsia Research Laboratories.
