Personal bio
An engineer by training, IR. OON CHEE KOON has more than 40 years of experience in the civil engineering industry. This includes successfully managing and delivering major infrastructure projects comprising mass rapid transit projects, expressways, electrified double railway tracks, viaducts and flyovers, airport, heavy foundation, power stations, shopping centre and university in his various roles with the Government, design consultant and contractor/developer. IR OON has a masters degree in Construction Law and Arbitration, where CIPAA was the subject of his dissertation. Over the years, IR OON had also provide consultancy and training in construction contracts and project management, apart from assisting clients in their claims under CIPAA.
