I am a qualified quantity surveyor by profession. I have worked in the construction industry for around 28 years and have extensive experience in managing and handling building, civil engineering, and marine projects both in public and private sectors. I specialize in the provisions of commercial, contractual, claim and dispute, and quantity surveying related issues during the tender and post contract stages. As reflected in my past working experience, I have handled and managed many fast-track, complicated and large-scale projects (e.g. Infrastructure for Penny’s Bay Development, Viaduct Structures from Kam Tin to Tin Shui Wai, Route 8 Ngong Shuen Chau Viaduct, Reclamation Works, HK Link Road and VCP & Ancillary Buildings & Facilities under HK-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge project, Reconstruction & Improvement of Tuen Mun Road Sam Shing Hui Section, Design & Build of Traffic Improvements to Tuen Mun Road Town Centre Section, Tsing Yi MTR Station, and Times Square) contracted under different types of contracts (e.g. traditional lump sum and re-measurement, design and build, joint venture, NEC3, and project management contracts). By involving those complicated projects, I have a lot of chances to practise the skills in negotiating, bargaining and wrapping up final accounts, supplemental agreements, cost saving design proposals and contentious issues.
