specialise in international arbitration and am based in Clifford Chance's Hong Kong office. I act as both counsel and arbitrator. In relation to acting as an arbitrator, I am appointed to the panels or have acted as an arbitrator in disputes under the ICC, LCIA, HKIAC, SIAC, AIAC and KCAB Rules. In relation to work as counsel, I have a broad experience in relation to Asia Pacific related disputes having lived and worked here since 2010. However, I have particular experience of private equity and fund related disputes and those relating to the energy sector. I am admitted in Hong Kong and England & Wales. I was previously based in Korea and whilst there was the head of Clifford Chance's Korean office. Although now based in Hong Kong I am still the head of the firm's Korean disputes practice. I'm listed in Who's Who, Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for my work in Greater China and Seoul. Alongside practicing, I have a real interest in teaching and capacity building. I organise a number of practical advocacy workshops together with HK45, YIAG and ICC's YAF each year have previously taught at Hong Kong University. I am elected to ICC HK's Nomination Committee, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), and appointed to the KCAB's Council for International Arbitration as well as KCAB Next's Steering Committee.
