Personal bio

Isabel has mediated a wide range of commercial disputes and conducted dialogue programmes and mediation in fragile and post-conflict environments. She is a German-qualified conflict specialist, a CEDR accredited mediator and holds a PhD for her work on the practice and theory of commercial and socio-political mediation.

She has designed and delivered dispute and conflict management systems, mediation, negotiation, conflict management training solutions, and provided consultancy services across the range of governments, IGOs, NGOs and commercial businesses around the world.

She is Visiting Lecturer at the University of Westminster Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, a member of the Conflict Research Society(CRS) Advisory Board and a jury member for the CRS prestigious ‘Book of the Year’ prize.
