Overview – A Contracts and Commercial Manager with a bias in dispute resolution. Functional description - A seasoned and qualified Commercial and Contracts Manager with management level experience on large construction and engineering projects using popular Forms of Contract (NEC 3 & 4, FIDIC, ICE, LOGIC, BIMCO, etc), carried out in a variety of work disciplines – civil works, rail, airports, power, nuclear, renewable energy, industrial, mechanical, electrical, network distribution, oil & gas and commercial projects. The main Commercial /Contracts Manager to lead teams and support the Project Director & Management on large complex projects or as Contracts Advisor / Specialist to generate solutions to contractual issues for companies worldwide. Pre-contract Procurement exposure from ‘cradle to grave’ and post-contract management of projects supporting the project teams and management for all types of contracts (Frameworks, PSA, SMA, PO, etc;) in EPC and Multi Contract Strategies and combined with commercial matters including risk exposure and financial budget management, variations, claims and disputes. Experienced in Arbitration and Adjudication cases as a Lay Advocate preparing statements of Referral & Response, as a Mediator acting on behalf of Defendants in private Hearings and the full review, preparation & defence/ rebuttal of contractual claims.
