Currently senior counsel, litigation and ADR group, Stikeman Elliott and independent member of the upper house of the Canadian Parliament. Previously partner with McCarthy Tétrault, commercial group (1984-1995); trial judge, Quebec Superior Court (1995-2001); senior appeal judge, Quebec Court of Appeal (2002-2014); Visiting Professor (ADR), Faculty of Law, Université de Montréal (2015-2018). Pierre has acted as mediator and arbitrator in about 100 domestic or international cases since 2015. Arbitration proceedings conducted under the rules of ICC, AAA/ICDR, LCIA, Canadian Commercial Arbitration Center, ADR Institute, etc. Member of Court of Arbitration for Sports; panel list under Canada-USA -Mexico Free Trade Agreement.
