Ten years of post-qualified experience representing clients against private and state entities on pre-contentious issues and high-stake litigation and arbitration matters in a variety of industry sectors, focusing on oil & gas, energy, construction, and mining. Proven track record in transnational disputes frequently involving parallel proceedings pending before multiple foreign courts and regulatory authorities. Acted as counsel and secretary to arbitral tribunals under the rules of the principal arbitration institutions in proceedings seated in Paris, Geneva, London, Madrid, New York, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. Advises investors, creditors, and debtors in complex large-scale debt restructuring, as well as in M&A and capital market deals. Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – CIArb (UK). Experience handling securities litigation and enforcement matters with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários).
