Personal bio
Suhan Khan, FCIArb, is an international arbitration practitioner and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. As Managing Partner of Accord Chambers, a leading Bangladeshi law firm, he brings extensive experience in complex, high-value disputes across a range of sectors.
Mr. Khan is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a panel arbitrator at the Thailand International Arbitration Centre (THAC), and a member of the Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC). He has acted as lead counsel in numerous international arbitrations under the auspices of major institutions such as the ICC and ICSID, with seats in London, Singapore, Paris, New York, and Dhaka. His client portfolio includes prominent multinational corporations, foreign state-owned entities, and leading Bangladeshi conglomerates.
Mr. Khan's expertise extends to advising on major energy, construction and infrastructure projects, and providing counsel to international organizations and foreign investors. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and is sought after by international law firms for his expertise in Bangladeshi law.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Khan gained valuable experience as an international consultant and researcher for the University of California Berkeley and the East-West Center. He holds an LLB from the University of London, an LLM from UWE Bristol, and a PGDiL from the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice. He was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2009.
