Mr Akobo has years of experience in regulatory compliance, public administration, governance, and strategic planning. Teinye Akobo consults for and advice both Nigerian and international clients on several contentious and non-contentious matters related to Startups, FinTechs, Contracts, Company Formation in various countries, Taxation, Partnerships, Joint Ventures, Real Estate, International Commercial Agreements, Labor Law, Foreign Investments in Nigeria, Public Law/Regulatory Compliance, Energy Law, and Intellectual Property. Akobo has a degree in International Politics from The American University of Nigeria (2009), a Law degree from Queen Mary University of London (2014) and a master’s degree in International Management (2010) from the University of Bath, United Kingdom. Akobo undertook certificate training at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both in the United States. Akobo is an Arbitrator and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration, UK. Akobo was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015 and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
