I am a trained Barrister / Adjudicator (FCIArb) / Senior Claims Consultant / Quantity Surveyor. I was called to the Bar of England & Wales as Barrister (unregistered) in 2023 at the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. I am dual qualified in law and construction and hold the following additional qualifications: MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution (Distinction) PG Dip in Law. BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management. HNC in Construction (Distinction) Recently, I have been working for a number of main contractor clients across the UK writing and preparing high profile construction claims on multi-million-pound disputes as part of the adjudication dispute resolution process. I regularly chair in house meetings with directors and external clients to discuss commercial related matters of business. The types of claims that I provided legal services on included aspects of quantum and delay analysis, acceleration, defective works, differing site conditions, defective design, professional negligence, and quantum meruit based claims etc. The projects include hotels, residential apartments, retired living accommodation, student accommodation, car parks, commercial warehouses, train station upgrades etc to name a few. Prior to Construction Claims Consultancy work, i practised as a Quantity Surveyor for 14 years, 7 years in Building / Residential projects and 7 years in Civil Engineering Projects. I have completed these projects at home domestically withing England Scotland and Wales and i have also worked internationally in Australia and New Zealand.
