Personal bio

Philip is a Chinese Arbitrator especially skilled in dealing with complex commercial disputes through arbitration and mediation involving parties and venues in the Asia Pacific region, and multi-linguistic evidence. As a former magistrate, Philip has years of experience conducting hearings in Chinese courts. 
Since 2008, Philip has been carrying on a busy law practice in Beijing.  He is currently leading the arbitration team in BZW-Beijing Zhongwen Law Firm. As arbitration counsel, Philip is very experienced with all aspects of arbitration such as enforcing or setting aside of arbitral awards, and emergency arbitrations.
Philip maintains a thriving practice before the Chinese courts and with many arbitration institutions such as LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, CIETAC and BIAC.  Philip is recognized as an expert in the bankruptcy law in China.
