Personal bio
Dr. Edgardo Muñoz is a Professor of Law at Universidad Panamericana, Mexico, and a distinguished member of the CISG Advisory Council. Licensed to practice law in California, and Mexico, he has acted as counsel, chairman, and sole arbitrator in numerous international arbitration cases. Dr. Muñoz holds an extensive academic background, with law studies in Mexico and France, two Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees from the University of Liverpool and the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctor of Laws (Ph.D.), summa cum laude, from Basel University, Switzerland. He is also a member of the Appeal Tribunal of the International
Gymnastics Federation and the Court of Arbitration for Sports in Lausanne, Switzerland.
