David is a barrister who specialises in business and property work, primarily on the Northern Circuit, with over 20 years experience (1997 call). He is listed in the Legal 500 as a leading junior, for 2022 he is cited as "a pleasure to work with" and as showing "exceptional ability to interpret the law." He has acted as arbitrator in a variety of property and contract matters, including contract disputes, landlord and tenant disputes and will / succession disputes, and has had very positive feedback from parties as to his careful handling of issues. He is also familiar with the legal issues arising out of the covid pandemic. He is qualified as both an arbitrator (FCIArb) and mediator (CEDR) and undertakes both including on fixed fees for smaller matters.
