Peter is a Forensic Accountant and Accountancy Expert Witness. Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Peter has long specialised in shipping and maritime matters having worked as shipbroker on the Baltic Exchange before qualifying as an chartered accountant in 1990. Peter has been involved in a wide range of shipping, shipbuilding, offshore oil and gas and ship finance disputes. Peter assists with issues of accounting practice, financial reporting, verification, cash flow modelling, valuation, damages and business interruption claims Peter has been retained as an expert witness and has given evidence in the English High Court, in courts in other common law jurisdictions and before a wide range of international arbitral tribunals including under LMAA, Lloyd’s Salvage branch, LCIA, ICC, SCC and SIAC rules.
